Le Chalet at dusk — a mountain-modern home of stone, black steel, and warm-lit glass overlooking the valley

Park City Showcase of Homes

Le Chalet

A mountain-modern home where stone, black steel, and warm cedar meet the edge of the Wasatch. Our debut project — and the fullest expression of how Reverie sees.

A home built on the line between boldness and restraint

Perched on a ridgeline with valley views in every direction, Le Chalet is a study in contrast — the warmth of natural cedar against the discipline of blackened steel, rough-hewn stone grounding walls of glass that dissolve into the landscape. Inside and out, every material was chosen to age with grace and to feel as considered in ten winters as on the first evening.

Designed for the Park City Showcase of Homes, Le Chalet carries its own identity — an antique key and a mountain range — a home with a name, a character, and a story of its own.

Every room a frame for the mountains

The architecture is a sequence of rooms and terraces along the ridgeline — living and kitchen opening to the valley, private rooms held in the stone, spa and cedar volumes stepping into the land.

Framed for the view

Deep eaves and cantilevered terraces reach toward the horizon, turning every room into a frame for the mountains. The blackened steel roofline holds the composition together — bold, precise, and quiet enough to let the landscape speak.

Rooted in the land

Stacked stone anchors the home to its ridge, softened by native grasses, boulders, and a sunken spa that catches the last light of day. The architecture doesn't sit on the mountain — it belongs to it.

A partnership with Cross Construction

Le Chalet was brought to life alongside Alex Cross and the team at Cross Construction, a Utah builder of custom luxury homes known for disciplined process, transparent budgets, and finish work built to last. From first drawings to final walkthrough, that same care for craftsmanship met our own — the reason this house feels as considered below the surface as it does above it.
